Make Your Customers Remember You

It’s Thanksgiving and while you probably don’t want to spend a large amount of money sending out expensive Thanksgiving Gift Baskets to all of your clients, you may want to do something that will still lift their spirits and make them think of you.  I normally reserve the gift baskets for Christmas myself.

One of the members of my golf group has been, for a while, sharing lovely little sayings and jokes.  I know I’m always hoping to find a great quote or something witty to say in a card.  An easy way to find a source of fun, memorable quotes and jokes is to simply buy them.  Susan Sherbert who has for years had these awesome jokes readily available for printing has just recently offered them via ebooks that you can simply download for a dollar or two or three.  I’ve already picked up a few.  What is perfectly appropriate this week is the Thanksgiving corny jokes and humor (Holiday corny joke books).

Here’s an example of one of her jokes, “How did the mother keep her family from fighting over the last of the pumpkin pie?”

“She kept the PIECE (peace)”

So if you’re thinking of some unique quotes to use for Twitter or Facebook, or simply in an email campaign.  Rather than trying to make up your own, simply borrow so long as you’re indicating it’s a quote and who’s.

Wow and thanks. It could not be better timing! I am just finishing an email campaign that basically says what you just did. I’ll be offering most of my business books for .99 all December so people can give smiles as fun little gift this year.

Plus I will explain how you can send the humor books as an Amazon gift. It’s pretty good and realy easy.

Happy Thanksgving, and one more joke…

I love using quotes in blog posts and each chapter of my book has a quote at the end. It’s a great way to leave someone with a take away thought. Thanks for the suggestion.

That’s great Greta! Quotes are the best, if I could put my own together, I would but am not witty enough.

The more you can do to be memorable the better. As Seth Godin says, be remarkable.
