I’d like to take up jogging. Waiting for a day that’s not too hot, where I have an extra 2 hours to spare and I’m not suffering from a cold, back pain or other physical ailment that hits a person my age.
In the meanwhile, I’ll sit comfortably in my car checking emails while the girls continue their golf fitness routine. I know, sounds horrible doesn’t it? I suppose I could stop in a local 24 Hour Fitness, but seems like most locations are the “Super Sport” and well, I only got the “Sport” membership. So, why can’t I just use the treadmill? I really don’t need the added amenities that come with the “Super Sport” facility, can’t they just let me in? Just another excuse I suppose.
The girls were assessed the other day at class hosted by So Cal Junior Golf Performance. The program gives each child a colored bracelet showing their progress. Something like moving up through different Karate belts I suppose. Now that we have 3 weeks off for winter break, now is good a time as any for me to get out & hit the gym.
The junior fitness camps should give me a perfect opportunity as the kids spend a good 3 hours there. I think I need some motivation, or a work out buddy. Who’s with me on this one?
